Year 2 have managed incredibly well on their first full week of school since the summer break – which I’m sure feels like a life time ago for most of you!
This week the children have really enjoyed being back in their PE lessons as you will have seen on our newsletter.
The children have written some fantastic creative writing this week and I’m very impressed with their full sentences and extending them with the conjunction “because”. Ask them questions at home and then get them to answer in full sentences using because- maybe even test their spelling of because!
We particularly enjoyed learning about living things this week in science. We looked at things that are alive, been alive or never been alive. The children came up with wonderful questions and really enjoyed exploring our school garden.
