Reception had their first trip to St Mary’s Church this week to celebrate Harvest Festival! The children walked to and fro the Church responsibly and sat very carefully during the service.
Later in the week, we continued our learning about the Creation Story. The children thought about how humans are similar and different throughout their lives and also how two children can be similar and different in a variety of ways. Finally, we discussed that all children are unique and special – just the way god intended! The day finished with some lovely creative art using the children’s hand and thumb prints – which are all just as unique as they are!
