After a wonderful History Unit of Learning all about Pirates and the life of Sir Francis Drake, the children finally visited the Golden Hinde. They behaved exceptionally and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The children got to pull an anchor up using a capstan, sit in the Captain’s chair and, they even got to clean out one of the cannons! The children were able to answer lots of questions as they had learnt so much about pirates!
