On Tuesday, we were really lucky to have a storyteller called Wendy come into our class and tell us some Yoruba stories from Nigeria. We really enjoyed listening to her stories, especially when she used traditional African instruments to help us imagine what was happening. After our stories, two representatives from the National Literacy Trust spoke to us about how to choose a book we would enjoy. Everyone chose one brand new book that they could take home and keep for free.
