Year One have been reading ‘The Fox and the Star’ in English. This week, they began their poetry journey by being immersed through their senses. They used all five of their senses to support their description of a forest. They used the garden to touch plants and leaves and, they even got to smell and taste herbs. Some of their faces speak a million words! Next, they are going to use their word banks that they created to inspire them to write a poem!
