As part of our PSHE lessons, we have been learning about different emotions we may feel at times.

We discussed the idea of change and loss.

Inspired by the story, The Run Away Kite, Year 2 made their own kites with their favourite memories of times gone by on them.

On Wednesday, Year 2 went to St Pancras Square Library, just a short walk away from our school.

We were kindly shown around and taught how to use the library.

We noticed how light and spacious the area was and how many wonderful books were available to us to borrow (including adults!)

All of us have free access to the library.

All of us can join the library and get our own library card to take books out.

It is all free.

We were told about their chess club, arts and crafts club and Summer Reading Challenge where medals and toys can be won for taking part!

If you want to get your child a library card, borrow books, spend time reading, use the computers, or join one of the fun sessions, head to the library with a proof of address and get your library card today!
