This week year six have been building circuits. First, they generated mathematical sketches with a variety of components, learned the associated symbols and then tested their circuits on their own power grid. They have learned that a working circuit will require a cell and began to develop ways to turn their light bulbs, buzzers and motors on and off with an assortment of switches.
