This week, year six went to the C.L.C. and were introduced to the world of robotics. In this session, our students were given a lego set and a series of instructions. After reading these instructions, they then followed a step by step online tutorial that taught them how to construct a robot.
After the construction of their robots, the children inserted a set of computing codes that made their robots dance, rotate, play music and light up.
Going to the C.L.C is always a wonderful experience and I was extremely impressed with our children’s ability to learn, access and apply advanced computerised software programs.
