This week has been very exciting for Year 4, we have been able to go the CLC we have been fortunate enough to build on our fantastic computing skills by creating blog posts about the Victorians. It gave us a chance to show off our knowledge of everything we have learnt so far, including inserting images into a post and creating hyperlinks.
On Friday, the Francis Crick came into school to teach us all about the Science of Sound. We learnt about sound and vibrations and investigated how our hearing works. We also made predictions as to whether one or two ears are better for detecting the direction of sound, and then test this using comparative and fair testing. We then investigated how sound travels through different materials (air and string). We were encouraged to explore our own ideas for changing the investigation.
