This week in Nursery, we read the classic story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears, focusing on how Goldilocks tries out the different pieces of furniture and compares their softness and hardness. Afterward, we explored materials by sorting them into soft and hard categories.
In Maths, we focused on comparing size and learned new vocabulary such as large, larger, short and shorter.
In Phonics, we learnt the sound”t” by playing the game” What”s in the box?” Objects that begin with the sound”t” are placed in a box and as we get them out one by one, the children repeat the initial sound.
In RE we started learning about the importance of Christmas for Christian people.
