This week, year six were given the task to create a Christmas card using a computer. They used the internet to explore the central beliefs of Christmas and then developed their own slogans and logos to decorate their individual cards.
It was interesting to see our student’s views on what they perceived to be the main meaning of Christmas and how these viewpoints differed from the way of society celebrates this time of year in regards to advertising and our spending habits.
I was very pleased to see that the year six children prioritised family and togetherness over a materialistic things.
