The Reception children were discussing who is special to them this week. The children brought in photos from home, talked about who is special to them and also sketched pictures of the person they had chosen. This was in the context of our R.E. learning – ‘Why do Christians believe that Jesus is special?
We were focussing on speaking in full sentences which many of the children could do successfully – more than anything though it was lovely to have them share photos and talk about their family and special people with such warmth.
