Reception had a special visitor in their RE lesson today! They were learning about parables, and an old shepherd named Baa-rnabus came to help them understand the Parable of the Lost Sheep. Baa-rnabus was so old that he actually lived during the time of Jesus! He taught the children about being a shepherd and read them the parable. The children even got to help Baa-rnabus find some lost sheep, just like in the story. It was a fun and interactive way to learn about an important Bible story. The children loved hearing Baa-rnabus’ stories and learning about being a shepherd. They even got to help find lost sheep, just like in the story! This engaging lesson helped bring the parable to life and taught the children that God loves everyone and will never give up on them even if they feel lost or have sinned.
