Nursery children enjoy Little Wandle phonics sessions so much that they love reenacting those session during independent exploration. In the pictures below, you will see examples of the children incorporating their phonics knowledge into play.
At the moment we are learning Phase 1 phonics which aims to make children aware of the sounds around them and ready to begin developing oral blending and segmenting skills.
