This week, our focus story was”Elmer”, the patchwork elephant. During circle time, we discussed how each of us is unique and different. We also talked about the names of colours and shared what our favourite colours are.
To celebrate the Harvest Festival, we visited the church for the very first time. The Nursery children demonstrated sensibility, good listening and green behaviour throughout the celebration.
To end the week, we baked blueberry muffins. The children actively participated by helping measure, mix and pour the ingredients. As they were doing this, they sang the nursery rhyme”Pat a Cake” which we have been singing during phonics time.
