Welcome back Year 5! It was so nice to see all the children back at school after the summer holidays and we have had a really nice week settling in and getting back into routines. In English, we started reading ‘There’s a Boy in the Girls’ Bathroom’, which we are really enjoying, and started to do some writing based off it. We also did some imaginative artwork based on a picture book called ‘The Journey’. Finally, we started to read our class novel called ‘The Faraway Truth’ and we’re all curious to find out what happens next. A great first week!
