This week, the nursery chose which activities we should set up in our learning environment. The children were particularly interested in creating a volcano while playing in the sand area. We used bicarbonate of soda and vinegar to simulate a volcanic eruption, and some children had the opportunity to make their own volcanoes. They decided that we should have a tuff tray with coloured shaving foam to make our own ice cream flavours. We even had sprinkles.
Looking forward to our next unit of learning, which is focused on Water. The children voted on activities related to this theme.
