This past week the Reception children looked at a lovely story called, ‘Where the Sea Meets the Sky’, which includes and showcases animals such as Sea Otters, Sharks, Octopuses, Walruses and others.
Over four days we learnt many facts about Sharks (and Octopuses) including where they live, what they eat and what body parts they have.
Alongside this and as part of our continuous provision, we had many activities to encourage the children to write, create and role-play. You can find some photos of the children’s work below, as well as some videos showcasing them hard at work.
