As part of Keeping Ourselves Safe Week, Year 5 had a visit from Ines from the Anti-Bullying Alliance, who gave us a workshop on respect. We thought about why it’s important to respect others and how we can show respect to all, even people who we don’t get on with. We did some role play showing the effects of what can happen when people don’t show each other respect and then each group gave advice on how we could improve the situation. Finally we came up with some freeze frames depicting certain situations. We ended the week with ‘Odd Socks Day’, celebrating the importance of differences.
