As part of our computing curriculum, we went to The Camden Learning Centre to learn how to code on Scratch Junior. This app is available for free and also available through a website. The children thoroughly enjoyed creating quiz shows on Scratch by developing their codes. By the end of the session, everyone- myself included, felt far more confident with our coding abilities and couldn’t wait to get back to school to further develop our skills.
We also went to Central St Martin’s to see a fantastic collection of art as contributed to by some of our children here at St Mary and St Pancras School as well as many other Camden schools. The highlight was seeing Eliza’s chalk pastel bird flying high in one of the displays; a proud moment for all of us.
