Our current History unit of learning is Ancient Greece an we have been looking at some Ancient Greek architecture. We found out that most Greek buildings had columns on them and there were 3 types of columns mainly used. Those were Doric, Ionic and Corinthian. In Art, we started by learning about an Ancient Greek architect called Ictinus who designed the Parthenon and then we did a pencil sketch of it. We then decided which type of column we wanted to make a clay model of, did your designs and then got started on the clay models! They’re looking really good!
