Year 2 finished this term on a high with their performance of A King is Born.
Throughout the process the children learnt valuable skills such as group work, listening, clear speaking and discipline! The process itself was fun and the outcome rewarding. The sense of pride that our children felt from performing can’t be measured but they certainly did themselves and us proud. Their smiles throughout and at the end said it all.
We finished our English lessons with performance poetry based on a poem “Alternative Christmas”. The poem explores scrapping traditional winter themed ideas and replacing them with modern alternatives. Children published them on iPads and laptops as part of their computing curriculum.
Such a wonderful term Year 2. See you in 2025.
