In Computing this week, we created a PowerPoint describing how Iceland is an active country by using our prior knowledge of volcanoes and tectonic plates. We also have to research how the leaders of the country protect their citizens when a volcano erupts. Throughout the presentation we were able to apply our new skills of changing fonts and font sizes, inserting a contents page and creating hyperlinks so we can navigate our PowerPoints with ease.
In English, we have been writing a newspaper report about how the main character from current book (Varjak Paw) has mysteriously vanished after his owner passed away. This lead into us using our new computing skills, were we had to type up the report, change the font and font size as well as inserting an image and adding in columns.
