Year 2 have been retelling the event of The Great Fire of London this week.
Our classroom was turned into a stage and all the children became actors.
It was great to see all the children’s enthusiasm to take part and have a go at retelling this famous event which happened in 1666 London.
See if they can tell you who Samuel Pepys and Thomas Farriner are.
Also, ask them what the London mayor at the time did? It may… or may not surprise you!
