Year 2 have thoroughly enjoyed being back this term.
We have got stuck in with exchanging in subtraction.
The children carefully went to the bank to exchange a ten for 10 ones.
They carried out tricky problem solving involving exchange.
After a wonderful day of Art for teachers on Monday, we have begun to transfer our newly acquired skills and techniques to the children here.
We enjoyed experimenting with pencil, charcoal and pen whilst observing the structure of feathers.
Good, messy, curious, explorative fun was had!
