In year six, we believe that a high-quality physical education lesson inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sport. Opportunities to compete in sport and other activities build character and help to embed values such as fairness and respect.

 

Today, you can see our class practicing our movement skills to help us prepare for a basketball tournament. Yes, it is important to be able to handle the ball whilst on offense but the key to winning is learning how to find space and communicate with your teammates. Not only were we striving to become better athletes, as you can see, we had a great time doing it as well.
