This week, year six learned that creating a self-portrait provides them a maximum amount of artistic freedom. In this session, the children were able to experiment with a variety of materials and practice different sketching techniques to complete a self-portrait.
During this lesson, the children, through an art medium, could express who they are and how they wanted to present themselves.
