This week Year 5 had an informative session at the CLC (Camden Learning Centre). We learnt about how to spot whether websites were reliable or not and looked through a range of websites, deciding how reliable they were. We also looked at different online news articles and learnt how to spot fake news. We were actually shocked at how convincing some of the fake articles were! Finally we looked at images and how to see which images were real and which ones had been edited in some way – some were even created by AI! By the end of the session, we all felt a lot more confident in being able to only use reliable sources online.
