Last week the Reception children’s focus text was ‘The Snail and the Whale’. As part of investigating this text, we learned about snails and whales, including their physical features. The children were also challenged to try and draw both a snail and whale from a model, as well as use their phonics to try and spell the two words.
As you can see below we have many children who are talented artists!
