Year 4 had an exciting geography lesson using laptops and Digimap for Schools! They explored mountain ranges, volcanoes, and tectonic plates to understand natural disasters better. By looking at maps, they discovered that many volcanoes and earthquakes happen along tectonic plate boundaries. They also found that some of the world’s biggest mountain ranges, like the Andes and the Himalayas, were formed by these moving plates. Using digital tools made learning fun and interactive, helping them see patterns in where and why natural disasters occur. This lesson helped them understand the powerful forces shaping our planet!
