This week, year six participated in an orienteering challenge in Hampstead Heath. We were given a series of tasks that would require an understanding of basic map reading, knowledge of the compass points and navigational know – how.
Not only that, these challenges put our problem-solving skills to the test because we had to constantly plan and evaluate our surroundings.
Although the weather was cold and we were in wet conditions, our spirits remained high because we were able to complete our orienteering course work!
This was so fun !
