Creating the Earth.
This week in Geography, we took a closer look at the layers of the Earth and created mini-models from modelling clay.
We began making the model using the yellow modelling clay, as this is the inner core of the Earth. It’s what keeps us connected to the Sun.
Yellow – represents the inner core. Orange – the outer core. Red – Mantle. Brown – the Crust and Green and Blue represent land and water.
Making model teeth.
In Science, we have been looking at our teeth and exploring the difference between adult teeth and baby teeth.
We then created 3D replicas of our teeth and mouths using marshmallows.
