This week in History we got hands on and practical in History. We learnt all about the steps and processes of mummification and our wonderful mummy got to experience all the steps (minus pulling the brain out!) The mummy was washed, covered in a sprinkling of salt, before being wrapped head to toe in linen bandages. It was then sent to the afterlife with treasures and trinkets.
