In DT this term, we have been working towards designing our own brand of jam. We chose jam to make because it links with our Stone Age topic, where we have learnt all about Neolithic people’s eating habits, including collecting berries as hunter-gatherers. We chose to use strawberries and used our food technology skills to chop and prepare the fruit ready for the jam. It also tasted delicious!
