This week was World Book Day and we dove into the world of Jill Murphy, who was our author study of the day. We read two of her heartwarming stories, ‘Five minutes peace’ and ‘The Worse Witch’. We also took part in a live lesson from the BBC, designed our own books and read to our hearts content. What a fantastic day. 
A wonderful way to celebrate World Book Day with fabulous costumes and character creation. This is the way to really spark interest in and love of reading in young people. Well done year 3 team!
