On Thursday, Year 6 went to the Camden Learning Centre to learn how to use computer technology to edit and change images.  The class learnt about the use of AI in generating photos and tips to check if an image is real or not. Technology, however, has advanced at such a rate that it is sometimes nearly impossible to spot a fake!

Year 6 used the Pixlr programme to change images, for example, making a flock of birds to a skyline with an image of one bird or layering images to photos to make a composite photo seem like an original. It was an interesting trip and the children definitely learnt some of the benefits and dangers of using computer technology in making photos look real!
